Laboratory Technician position to work on Central Laboratories in Imdea Energy

IMDEA Energy is opening a Laboratory Technician position for the Central Laboratories Unit, looking for talented and motivated candidates to work on the analysis and characterization.

Tasks Description:

  • Chemical analysis by Atomic Emission Spectroscopy with Inductively Coupled Plasma
  • Thermal analysis.
  • Determination of textural properties by physisorption analysis.
  • Management and control of materials and consumables.
  • Management and control of laboratory PPE.
  • Laboratory waste management.
  • Management of laboratory reagents.
Requirements

Compulsory Requirements:

  • To be in possession of a Higher-Level Training Cycle Degree (Vocational Training of the Educational System) in Chemistry, Laboratory Analysis and Quality Control, or similar.
  • Previous experience in: chemical and thermal analysis.
  • Previous experience in determination of textural properties (physisorption and chemisorption).

Merits to value:

  • Knowledge of data processing, quality and safety in laboratories.
  • Oral and written communication skills in English.
