IMDEA Energy is opening a Predoctoral Researcher Position for the Systems Analysis Unit to work on simulation, technical and environmental analysis of processes for the production of sustainable aviation fuels from waste.

The new researcher will join the research team of the Systems Analysis Unit aimed at simulation and analysis of energy and energy-related processes and systems. The new researcher will be in charge of:

Tasks Description:

• Simulation of processes for the production of sustainable aviation fuels from waste. 
• Techno-economic assessment of processes for the production of sustainable aviation fuels from waste.
• Life cycle assessment of processes for the production of sustainable aviation fuels from waste.
• Dissemination and publication of research results in international scientific journals and conferences.

Compulsory Requirements:

• Degree in Chemical, Environmental, Energy or Industrial Technology Engineering, or equivalent. 
• Official Master's Degree in Chemical, Environmental, Energy, or Industrial Engineering, or other MSc related to the job profile.
• Experience of process simulation.

• Remuneration: Between 21.500€ – 24.000€ per year, depending upon qualification and expertise.

*The contract includes all the benefits of the Spanish Public Health and Social Security System.
