Description

IMDEA Energy is opening a Laboratory Technician Position for the Central labs, looking for talented and motivated candidates.

Tasks Description:

• Management, supervision and maintenance of scientific equipment for chemical and thermal analysis and determination of textural properties.

• Results reports.

• Management and control of material and consumables.

• Management and control of EPIS.

• Laboratory waste management.

• Management of laboratory reagents.
Requirements

Compulsory Requirements:

  • Higher Technician in Chemistry, Analytical Techniques and Quality Control, or similar.
  • Having less than 4 years in possession of this official training.

Merits to value:

  • Previous experience in chemical and thermal analysis (thermogravimetry, elemental analysis ...).
  • Previous experience in determining textural properties (physisorption and chemisorption).
  • Knowledge and experience in laboratory work according to standard procedures.
  • Knowledge of data processing, quality and safety in laboratories.
  • Oral and written communication skills English.
Selection Criteria
  • Adequacy of the candidate's training to the requested profile.
  • Work experience related to the profile of the job position.
  • Knowledge of English.
Conditions

Duration: One-year Training contract with the possibility of continuity depending on job performance.

Remuneration: 13.500 € annual gross salary.
Workplace

IMDEA Energía: Mostoles, Madrid.
