IMDEA Energy is opening a Research Assistant Position for the Systems Analysis Unit,  we are looking for talented and motivated candidates to work on the deployment of hydrogen systems in the Community of Madrid and Spain.

Task Description:

• Review of current and future techno-economic data on hydrogen energy systems and subsequent development of a specific techno-economic database.
• Support to the regional modelling of the deployment of hydrogen technologies, with a focus on Spain and Madrid and renewable hydrogen.
• Collaboration in the development of planning strategies for hydrogen deployment.
• Dissemination and publication of research results in international scientific journals and conferences.

Mandatory Requirements:

• BSc in Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Energy Engineering, Industrial Engineering or equivalent.

Other merits to value:

• Knowledge of geographical information systems and life cycle thinking tools.
• Knowledge of fuel cells and hydrogen systems.
• Oral and written communication skills in English.

• Adequacy of the candidate's training to the requested profile.

• Remuneration: 17.200 €  Gross Salary per year.

*The contract includes all the benefits of the Spanish Public Health and Social Security System.

• Duration of the contract: 1 year, possibility of annual renewals depending on performance.
